50 CENT SPONSORS CARDIFF GIRLS UNDER-14 CLUB 🤣🫡

Re-read that and tell me you didn’t laugh.

Yes, Mr Cent is now supporting Welsh girls grassroots football.

Why? You would be sensible to ask.

Apparently, he became friendly with the father of one of the players at the club whilst on tour. Making the gesture very warm in our opinion.

The sponsorship will pay for the new away kit and club tracksuit which will feature 50 Cent and G Unit on them. LOL.

Can you imagine playing a team in Cardiff with G-Unit and 50 Cent on their kits? I think I would keep my kid on the bench for that game.

‘In Da Club’ is the teams new anthem according to sources close to the club

Maybe I made that bit that up… but it would be great if it was.

We look forward to seeing the Cardiff team supporters poppin’ bottles. I mean, supporting their team for the season ahead.

PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS ARE BEING WARNED 😬

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulates the U.K.’s financial markets.

And the FCA just sent out a big warning to Premier League clubs looking to make a quick buck off their fans.

The warning: they’re breaking the law if they promote cryptocurrencies to fans without adequate warning.

**gulp**

How do clubs promote crypto products?

  • Fan tokens are digital membership collectables which can be used to access rewards.

  • These rewards can be anything from voting in polls to ballots for exclusive tickets.

  • Clubs like Spurs have partnered with companies like Socios to offer digital tokens so fans can “redeem experiences”.

Sounds like a whole buncha nothing.

The good news for clubs is… the FCA is giving clubs a get-out-of-jail-free card.

All they have to do is urge fans not to invest “unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest.”

That should do the trick, right?

Regardless, after the pandemic, demand for these digital tokens has dwindled - and the hype train is coming to a halt.

STAT OF THE DAY: CHANCES CREATED VS CHANCES CONCEDED

Credit: u/Wiseman_Dennis - Reddit

We’re going European for this one. More specifically, the top 5 leagues in Europe.

The graph shows expected chances created against expected chances conceded to date, this season.

It’s not complicated, promise 👉🏼 👈🏼

  • Top Right = Strong Attack & Strong Defence

  • Bottom Right = Strong Defence. Weak Attack.

  • Top Left = Weak Defence. Strong Attack.

  • Bottom Left = Weak Defence. Weak Attack (A.K.A) the whipping boys…

If you’re lazy, don’t worry.

Put your feet up and absorb these main points:

Strong Attacks & Strong Defences

  • Bayern Munich are top dog in Europe

  • Man City, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal, Brentford, Tottenham and EVERTON (!) follow closely behind.

  • Liverpool, interestingly, is considered to have a weak defence and a strong attack…

Weak Attacks & Weak Defences

  • Sheffield United are bottom of the European pack - to be expected given the results this season.

  • Statistically speaking, Luton, Nottingham Forrest, Fulham, Burnley, and Bournemouth have weak attacks and weak defences.
