GW6 on the horizon… fingers crossed ppl 🤞🏼

Wow, last week was tough… on everyone.

Gameweek 6 is approaching, so there’s no time to be fretting. We’ve done some digging, so you don’t have to.

So, here’s a few quick tips…

Ok, firstly, find a way to triple - or at least double up - on Man City players.

You already have Haaland in your team, and your next best bet is Julian Alvarez. Esp if you’re hoarding Jackson, it’s about time you cut your loses and accept that you were downright wrong…

Why Alvarez (and not Jackson)?

Pickford owners (I am one of them), don’t panic.

Hear me out. Everton aren’t defending that badly this season. They currently 10th in the league for xGC… and with an easier run of games coming up (Luton and Bournemouth) you might as well stick with him for now.

If you’re thinking about wildcarding in the next couple of weeks, that’s the better time to get rid of him.

🔦SPOTLIGHT GAME

🔴 Arsenal vs Tottenham ⚪️

Sunday 24 Sept 2pm. Live on Sky Sports.

This is the biggun this weekend. A bitter rivalry that means sooo much more than 3 points.

It’s too early to judge how Big Ange is going to approach this game tactically.

If Spurs play the way Ange wants them to, it could leave them open to a clinical Arsenal side.

After all, Tottenham have been pressing opponents very high this season and only Everton and Bournemouth have made more pressures in the final third than Spurs.

Sky Sports analysis shows that Spurs are now averaging more shots, touches in the opposition box, possession, high turnovers and pressures in the final third than under Conte last season.

So, Spurs are looking a lot better than they were last season. That’s no doubt.

But, will they be strong enough to sustain an Arsenal team that loves to maintain possession?

Especially if in-form Trossard and Saka play alongside a fit Gabriel Jesus, it will be tough to keep them at bay.

Equally, though, Spurs have their own men in-form… Maddison being the main one, as well as Bissouma and Son - all fit and likely going to play.

Let’s not forget the strong defensive display too.

It looks like an even game - and we might see a deadlock between two equally strong teams atm…

🤕 Injury updates…

Crystal Palace vs. Fulham:

• Injured players for Crystal Palace include Marc Guehi (muscle) and Jefferson Lerma (hamstring), who might return soon.

• James Tomkins missed out against Aston Villa with a "minor injury."

• Jordan Ayew was a fresh casualty at Villa Park but the early indications are that he only sustained a dead leg.

• Matheus Franca (back) and Michael Olise (hamstring) remain out, with Olise suffering a setback this week.

Luton Town vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers:

• Several Luton Town players are sidelined, including Daniel Potts (ankle), Jordan Clark (ankle), and Gabriel Osho (knee).

• Ross Barkley (hamstring) had a slight muscle issue but shouldn't be out for long.

• Wolves' Joe Hodge (hamstring) is expected to be back "running" in training this week.

Manchester City vs. Nottingham Forest:

• Manchester City's injured players include John Stones (hamstring), Jack Grealish (thigh), and Mateo Kovacic (back).

• Bernardo Silva joined the injury list.

• Danilo (hamstring), Serge Aurier (unspecified), and Willy Boly (illness) missed Monday's draw with Burnley.

Brentford vs. Everton:

• Brentford's Rico Henry (knee) has joined Josh Dasilva (hamstring), Shandon Baptiste (shoulder), and Ivan Toney (suspended) on the long-term absentee list.

• Dele Alli (hip) and Seamus Coleman (knee) will sit out the trip to west London.

Burnley vs. Manchester United:

• Burnley's Darko Churlinov (blood poisoning), Michael Obafemi (hamstring), and Hjalmar Ekdal (knee) remain out.

• Lyle Foster begins a three-match ban.

• Jordan Beyer limped out of Monday's draw with Nottingham Forest but cramp was reported as the reason for that.

• Aaron Wan-Bissaka (hamstring) has joined Luke Shaw (muscle), Amad Diallo (knee), and Tyrell Malacia (knee) on the sidelines.

Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur:

• Arsenal's Jurrien Timber (knee) and Thomas Partey (groin) remain out.

• Gabriel Martinelli may also be unavailable.

• Mohamed Elneny (knee) made the bench against PSV after almost eight months on the sidelines.

• Tottenham's Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Bryan Gil (groin), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), and Alfie Whiteman (ankle) are still absent.

Brighton and Hove Albion vs. Bournemouth:

• Brighton's Julio Enciso (knee) remains out.

• Solly March has been passed fit.

• Dango Ouattara (ankle) returned from injury last weekend.

• Bournemouth's Tyler Adams (hamstring), Ryan Fredericks (calf), Emiliano Marcondes (foot), and Alex Scott (knee) remain out.

Chelsea vs. Aston Villa:

• Moises Caicedo (knee), Marc Cucurella (illness) and Noni Madueke (muscle) missed the drab draw with Bournemouth last Sunday but the latter two have already returned to training

• Tyrone Mings (knee) and Emi Buendia (knee) are long-term absentees for Villa and Tim Iroegbunam (back) remains out, while Diego Carlos (hamstring) has been sidelined since picking up an injury at Anfield in Gameweek 4.

Liverpool vs. West Ham United:

• Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold is due to start "ball work" this week.

• Thiago Alcantara (hip) is creeping closer to a return to full training.

• David Moyes reports a fully fit squad for West Ham.

Sheffield United vs. Newcastle United:

• Several Sheffield United players are still sidelined.

• Oli McBurnie also serves a one-match ban.

• Newcastle United has several players out with injuries, including Joelinton (knee), Joe Willock (Achilles), and Emil Krafth (ACL).
