It’s like when you don’t get caught at red lights on your way home. Everything just went our way.

Chelsea versus Brentford was our favourite shout. We said that Brentford had a better chance of winning than the pundits gave credit.

What swayed our opinion? Brentford was unbeaten in their last 12 games in the Premier League against London teams.

And, guess what, they’ve made that 13 games now after their 2-0 win against Chelsea.

🐝 The Bees have Arsenal next month on the 25th of November. We’re eager to see if they can keep this run going…

Oh, then there was Crystal Palace versus Spurs.

Route One predicted that Crystal Palace wouldn't be smooth sailing.

It was Roy Hodgson’s 500th game in charge of English clubs, and his men weren’t going down without a fight.

Spur’s convincing, but narrow 2-1 win says everything.

And finally, the Manchester derby.

Well, it was hard to predict that Manchester United would do absolutely nothing in front of their home fans.

But our 50% likelihood precision of City’s win is enough to make us feel good about ourselves.

The one thing we didn’t predict was that Bruno Fernandes would rack up more moans than touches against City… 😆

FPL TIP INCOMING… 📦

But what was the silver bullet? The way we choose our captain.

We no longer leave it up to fate.

Instead, here’s our tip: use a betting odds average checker.

We know it’s simple. But, my gosh, it’s proven effective since we implemented this strategy.

Betting companies have so much more information. And it’s in their incentive to give worse odds on players who are expected to return better.

Most major FPL accounts said Salah was the best to captain because he was facing Notts Forest.

But, when we checked the odds, they didn’t agree. And we couldn't be happier with our choice. 😁
